Kislovodsk

Kislovodsk is buried in verdure of the gardens, flowers and one of the largest parks in Europe (area 1350 hectares). The town is surrounded on all sides by mountains, covered with subalpine

meadows, which attach the particular purity and transparency to the air. From the northern and eastern winds Kislovodsk is protected by Marinskiy and Dzhinalskiy ranges. This has a beneficial effect on the climate that allows the resort to operate year round.

The spa is located in the same climatic zone of Europe as the Southern coast of Crimea, Moldova, Northern Italy and Southern France. Here is the warm summer (longs at about 5 months). Sunny dry weather persists until November. "Golden" Fall ( "Indian Summer" ) begins in September. Precipitations are small, the weather is sunny and calm. Winter is usually soft. Spring is late (relative to other cities of Caucasian Mineral Springs). A large number of sunny days per year (about 300).

The main therapeutic tool of the resort is carbon cold spring-famous narzan, which restores the "physical and emotional force". Besides the main springs are dolomite and sulfate narzans, their water is used inside in metabolism breaking and respiratory organs diseases.

Medical staff of the resort succeded in the treatment and prevention of diseases of respiratory system, functional disorders of the nervous system and so on; provide additional services for the treatment of opportunistic diseases: gastrointestinal tract, locomotive, urologic, gynecologic, eye diseases.

Kislovodsk is connected with all country, the city of Mineral Springs and other resorts of Caucasian Mineral Springs by the railway line. Distance from Moscow to the station Mineral Sprinds is 1843 km, from Mineral Springs to Kislovodsk-64 km.
