Commissioner was burned

As the European Parliament welcomes in the new Commission team, outside the offices in Brussels of the outgoing Agriculture Commissioner Marianne Fischer-Boel, dairy farmers were saying goodbye to the woman they see as their nemesis, informs Euronews.
It was a question of thanks, but no thanks and good riddance, as the dairy farmers burned an effigy of her.
They blame her for ruining many small farmers and pushing some to suicide with what they call ultraliberal policies and a failed milk quota system.
