Surfers ride Severn Bore wave

Surfers flocked to ride the giant wave in the Severn Estuary, which was given the highest five star rating (6.5 feet high). Surfers travelled from far to find the Severn Bore wave.

It’s the world second highest tide. The natural phenomenon happens when fast moving water from the Atlantic Ocean sweeps off the channel into the narrow Severn Estuary.
