Backyard coffee makers keep tradition alive

Some areas in Cambodia ones inhabited by local tribes and coffee makers now in danger of being turned into rubber plantations and farms.  But one part is carrying tradition started by the French many hundreds of years ago by growing and selling their own personal brand of coffee.

Every few days the workers at Mondulkiri coffee roast coffee they grind behind their shop. Like most coffees in Asia the beans are roasted till they’re black. Everything’s done by hand and 12 grams will cost us about 1 pound.

The owner of the coffee shop is new to the business but says he just love coffee.
