Earthquake in Taiwan

The earthquake hit on Thursday morning cause food on supermarket shelves to fall. It also caused cars and buildings to shake.

Nurses in the natal clinic rushed to protect the newborn babies. Children were evacuated outside the nursery and school buildings.

The quake also started fires including one that badly damaged the textile factory.

Services on Taiwan’s high speed railway that links the capital with the south was temporary stopped. The quake injured over 60 people.
