How much does New Year Eve 2010 cost

New Year Eve and Christmas are getting closer, and we are feeling festive mood and leave less time for organization of a New Year Eve Party. How to choose the hotel or restaurant? Stay in Russia or go abroad? Make a party at home or rent a house in forest?
The only certain thing is that staying at home is not the best way if you desire to experience something new. As the tour industry offers us the widest range of entertainment programs for the party we’ll try to get know – what version will be most interesting and economical? 

Organized New Year Party in Leningrad Region

We won’t take St Petersburg’s restaurants so let’s begin from country complexes which offers you an interesting to celebrate all events.
Igora Resort in 54 km from St Petersburg offers all lovers of outdoor activity a program for 3 days and 2 nights (from 31.12.2009 to 02.01.2010). Though there are offers for 2 days we’ll stop at 3 days version.
A Standard DBL in the Igora hotel will cost 13400 rubles. Cottage is from 70000 rubles. Accommodation cost includes breakfast, attending of swimming pool and gym. Also you will get a bottle of Champaign and candies. The festive Gala dinner is not included in the price so you will have to pay extra money for a show: 12000 rubles in Grand Cafй, 20000 rubles in the restaurant Le Chalet.
Other offering is from the motel-camping Retur which is 30 km from St Petersburg. The tour cost for one person will be 11900 rubles. The tour includes accommodation in a DBL, New Year Eve Party with Grandfather Frost, fireworks, breakfasts, open air merrymaking and barbeque on January 1. Also you may rent a cottage or all five of them, if your company is big enough. There is a special offer for 20 people: five cottages with sauna and billiard are available for 90000 rubles. All meal and New Year Eve Banquette are to be ordered.
Nearby Finnish border there is a motel Medved; its New Year offer costs 7500 rubles for one adult. You pay for the party night on December 31, accommodation and full board.
A ticket for two in Helios Hotel (Zelenogorsk) will cost 23900 rubles including DBL accommodation, festive dinner, full board and party on January 1.
Remember that we took Standard DBL which is the cheapest version of accommodation, excluding extra bed in a room.

New Year tour in other city or other country

You do not need to go very far to celebrate New Year Eve. For example, you may go to Middle Age town of Vyborg. Company Lada offers its tour beginning from 6980 rubles (accommodation, excursions, meal). The price depends on the hotel you’ll choose. Also you will have to pay for New Year Party in one of restaurants to choose (from 4800 rubles for one person). A visit to ski resort Korobitsyno is planned for January 2, so you will need some extra money for this section. After that you’ll be delivered to St Petersburg.
Inzhunavolok Leisure Base in Karelia offers stay in a townhouse, breakfasts and dinners, New Year Eve Party, snowmobile ride (lasts for 1 hour), an excursion at the Ethnographic Museum in Rubchoyla. Cost of the program for 4 days is from 15500 rubles for one person.
The company Fantastika offers to celebrate New Year in Haikon Kartano Mansion with traditional Finnish sauna and room of relaxation in Porvoo (Finland). The program is rather interesting: guide tours in Helsinki and some other places, aqua park and wellness center (aqua park ticket – 10 euros, Aqua Park and wellness center – 22 Euros for 3 hours). And after that will be New Year Eve dinner with fireworks in the mansion. The tour costs 295 Euros if you choose a bed in DBL; tour cost includes transfer, guide tours, accommodation, breakfast, New Year dinner with show, using of the hotel SPA center. Extra pay: visa and insurance.
